Sports at a Glance

The month of October is all over the place for Wyoming Athletics and also the weather. The University of Wyoming Football Team slows down compared to the month of September by only playing three games instead of four. Two of these are home games, and none is more important than the October 19th match up against Colorado State. The Cowboys have won the last four Boarder Wars and look to keep the Bronze Boot in Laramie for another season.

The Cowgirls Volleyball Team plays their first home game since August on October 1st against Colorado and Black Hills State. They also have four more home games in the month of October, the 10th, 12th, 24th and 26th. The Cowgirl Soccer Team also heats up during the month of October. Five of their seven games in the month of October are in Laramie and they are all conference games. Their season wraps up in the middle of November so these conference games will be important before the Mountain West Championships from November 4th-9th.
