Family Game Night

Is Netflix becoming too much of your evenings? How about mixing things up for the night! Board games are starting to become a thing of the past, but they are a viable source of fun for a night with friends or family.

The best thing about board games is that they come in so many varieties; there is the perfect game out there for everyone. Games can be short and simple or they can be longer and more complicated. Some good short games to play are checkers, Connect 4, or Sorry!. Longer games that are still fun for families are Monopoly, Risk, and Trivial Pursuit.

However, there are also some board games that have a more non-traditional formats such as Quelf. Quelf is a game where you never know what you will be doing next. You might be pretending to be a tree one turn and racing another player to find a spatula the next!

If you are looking for these board games or others, I would recommend looking at K-Mart or Walmart. Hastings also has a much larger variety of board games for more adventurous players.

Also, the Apartments Community Center has games to check out and play in the community center for free! Here’s to a great night!
